MACFADYEN, “Daisy” Levina (nee Hill)

1921-2019

The death occurred on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Cedarstone Enhanced Care, Truro, NS of Daisy L. (Hill) MacFadyen at the age of 97. Born in Port Hawkesbury, NS, she was the daughter of the late Charles B. and Helen (Marsh) Hill and wife of the late J. Everett. She was also predeceased by her younger daughter Donna L. Murphy; sister and brotherin-law Hazel and Ralph Peeples and nephews Edwin and Conrad Peeples. She will be missed and remembered with love by her daughter Elizabeth “Betty” MacFadyen, son-in-law Michael Murphy and his wife Paulette Melanson and by several “MacFadyen” nieces and nephews. In keeping with Daisy’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place as she requested. A graveside service and reception will be held on Wednesday, June 12th at Canoe Cove Presbyterian Church Cemetery at 4:30 p.m. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Daisy’s memory would be appreciated.
