7 DAY FORECAST, P.E.I.
CINDY SAYS: We don’t need more rain, but if it is going to rain, it might as well come at night! Behind the cold front, a lovely dry breeze will clear the air. Wednesday’s wind will be from the W to NW with gusts to 60 km/h. The wind direction will change as another wet weather maker approaches the province on Thursday. The south wind will lead the way for some overnight rain; the rain should let up before noon on Friday. The late week system is going to be blocked by a ridge of high pressure over the Labrador Sea. It’s expected to weaken but linger through the weekend. There won’t be much moisture on it but we’ll likely be under a blanket of cloud with a few showers.
