WORK BEGINS ON REALIGNING OLD TRYON ROAD

Work has begun on the realignment on the Old Tryon Road, which will become a 90-degree intersection with the Trans-Canada Highway. A left-turn lane will also be added to the highway at this intersection and there will be asphalt resurfacing. Local traffic should access the Old Tryon Road from South Melville Road. Two-way onelane traffic will be maintained but be prepared to stop. Work is expected to be complete by the end of June.
