The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on June 12, 2019 of Vera Campbell of New Haven, age 87. Wife of the late Wilfred Campbell and loving mother of Arthur (Danielle) and Debbie (Bill) Murley. Caring grandmother to Danny (Kim), Karen, Neil (Chelsey) Campbell, and Katherine and Jonathan Murley and great-grandchildren Brandon, Ryker, Alden and Marshall Campbell. She is survived by her sister Evelyn (the late Eddie) Acorn. She was predeceased by her parents Hedley and Nettie (Nicholson) MacPherson and brother Wendell (Ivy), her Campbell in-laws Heber (Norma), Florence (Alton) Newman, Ethel (Stewart) Drake, Neil, Jessie (Arnold) MacDonald, Lauretta (Alex) MacLeod, Dorothy (Garfield) MacFadyen, Belle (Ralph) Younker and Jack. Vera will be sadly missed by numerous nieces and nephews to whom she was like another fun-loving cousin. Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Funeral Friday from Burnside Presbyterian Church at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
