7 DAY FORECAST, P.E.I.

- I was searching for a photo of last spring’s late killing frost that destroyed so many valuable crops across the region when I came across this picture. It was taken on June 3, 2018 – on the Compton Farm, just outside Summerside, P.E.I. Unbeknownst to me,

CINDY SAYS: Here we go again. I’m watching another soggy system approaching the province from the west. The clouds will be followed by rain overnight Thursday into Friday. Unlike the last line of rain, this one will linger a little longer. Friday will be unsettled with showers and a raw SE wind with gusts to 50 km/h. As for the weekend, it’s not looking too bad at all. The proximity of the system to the west of us will keep a fair amount of clouds overhead, but I don’t see any rain on Saturday and Sunday will be fair with showers holding off until late in the day.
