The Steel Guitar Club of P.E.I. is having a steel guitar jam on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 7-9 p.m., at the Cotton Centre, 57 Bunbury Rd., Stratford. A Remembrance Day service will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 10 a.m., at the Mount Continuing Care Community, 141 Mt Edward Rd., Charlottetown.
Presentation
Public School Branch Career/Job Fair focusing on career opportunities and immediate casual work opportunities for substitute teachers, educational assistants, school bus drivers, administrative assistants and cleaners will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 6, Stratford Town Hall, 234 Shakespeare Dr., Stratford, and Thursday, Nov. 21, Holman Building, 250 Water St., Summerside. Both events are 1-7 p.m.
Cards/Cribbage/Crokinole
Dunstaffnage Seniors are hosting crokinole and card games on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 1 p.m., at Dunstaffnage School Centre, with lunch and prizes.
Crokinole are cards are played every Wednesday, 1-3:30 p.m., at the New London Community Complex. There is a $4 admission and light refreshments. Contact Jennifer, 902-8862599, for information.
Scrabble is played at the Seniors Active Living Centre, Bell Aliant Centre, UPEI, Wednesdays, 1 p.m.
Auction/45s is at the Jack Blanchard Family Centre, Charlottetown, Wednesdays 1:30 p.m. Admission is $2. There will also be a 50/50 draw.
