Community
The ninth annual Drive Thru Living Nativity will take place at the farm of Chyrs and Doreen Jenkins, 6452 Route 19, Canoe Cove from Friday, Dec. 6 to Sunday, Dec. 8, 5:30-8:30 p.m. There will be Baby Jesus, Mary, Joseph, shepherds, kings, angels and live animals along with a choir singing Christmas songs and large displays of Christmas lights and decorations. Free-will donations will go to the Children’s Wish Foundation.
Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration, featuring Santa and Mrs. Claus, will be held Friday, Dec. 6, 6 p.m., at the Mount Continuing Care Community, 141 Mt. Edward Rd., Charlottetown. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served.
Remembrance
The National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women Service is being held on Friday, Dec. 6 at noon at the Presbyterian Church , 130 Victoria Rd., Summerside. All are welcome to attend. Purple ribbons are available at the East Prince Women’s Information Centre, 109 Water St.

The Seniors Active Living Centre, Bell Aliant Centre, UPEI, will be having a Cribbage tournament on Thursday, Dec. 5. Registration begins at 9:15 a.m. with the games at 9:30 a.m. Admission is $5 for members and $6 for nonmembers. There will be a 50/50 draw and prizes for first, second and third. Partners are not required but are recommended.
