Nominations are now being accepted for the following 2019 awards by the P.E.I. Agriculture Sector Council:

P.E.I. Department of Agriculture and Land Minister’s Dedication to Agriculture Award. This award recognizes an employee that through long serving dedication, devotion, involvement, and thoughtfulness has contributed to the success and long-term profitability of your agriculture enterprise.

P.E.I. Agriculture Employee of the Year Award is sponsored by Kool Breeze Farms. The ideal candidate for this award is an agriculture employee that makes an invaluable contribution to any farm operation. The candidate will have demonstrated a strong work ethic and shown dedication and commitment to the agriculture industry.

P.E.I. Agriculture Employer of the Year Award is sponsored by T&K Fire and Safety Ltd. The ideal candidate for this award is an agricultural employer that goes above and beyond to ensure that their employees have a positive work experience. The candidate will have demonstrated a tremendous level of support and dedication to employees working on their farm operation.

The deadline for nominations is Dec. 31. The awards will be presented at the P.E.I. Federation of Agriculture’s Annual Meeting Dinner on Jan. 31.
