Free public information sessions planned

EXIT Realty P.E.I. events to focus on a variety of topics

-

EXIT Realty P.E.I. just wrapped up its first of many free public information sessions on Jan. 22.

While EXIT Realty is a real estate company, the first session had nothing to do with real estate, but instead focused on nutrition, health and goal setting for 2020.

Special guests were fitness instructor, Bernadette Currie from FitLife P.E.I., and life coach JulieAnn Gauthier.

This was the first of a series of events EXIT has planned for 2020.

In addition to real estaterelated sessions, the company will also hold a variety of nonreal estate sessions – all free to the public, at its new office at 41 MacLeod Cres.

While the company has offered real estate related sessions in the past, co-owner Carol O’Hanley, who has owned the business with her husband, Steve Yoston, since 2015, wanted to open up the space for other purposes.

She has extended invitations to the community to see if people are looking for an opportunity to share information in front of an audience.

In March, there will be two real estate-related sessions, a career night on March 11 and a buyer’s session on March 24.

A few other sessions will include social media and marketing for small businesses; styling session for spring; photography tips for beginners and more.

O’Hanley has her certificate in adult education, so educating people is one of her passions. She is also offering free tutoring sessions to anyone taking the pre-licensing real estate course. She taught this course on several occasions in the past and loved it, so she is happy to help anyone embarking on this journey as they learn the material.
