Fundraiser

Tickets are now on sale for the Community Foundation of P.E.I.’s next Chase the Ace Draw, which will be held on Thursday, July 2, 7 p.m. Net proceeds will be used for the recently establishe­d COVID-19 Community Impact Fund, which will provide assistance to P.E.I. charities whose work is being negatively impacted by the Coronaviru­s pandemic. Museums

The Acadian Museum in Miscouche reopens to the public on June 29 and will be open daily, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Operations will be adjusted to follow protocols put forth by the Chief Public Health Office.

Beaconsfie­ld Historic House is open in Charlottet­own, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Operations will be adjusted to follow protocols put forth by the Chief Public Health Office

The Bedeque Area Historical Museum, located in the William Callbeck Centre, Central Bedeque, is open in June, Tuesday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and in July and August, hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, 1-5 p.m. Exhibits focus on the Loyalist settlement of the Bedeque Bay area, the Borden ferry service and on Callbeck’s country store, as well as the collection of the late Howard Clark's Red Barn Museum relating to the social history of the area.

Elmira Railway Museum in Elmira reopens to the public on June 29, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., daily. (closed Canada Day). Operations will be adjusted to follow protocols put forth by the Chief Public Health Office.

Eptek Art & Culture Centre in Summerside is scheduled to reopen to the public on June 30. Operations will be adjusted to follow protocols put forth by the Chief Public Health Office. The exhibit "85 Years of Painting and Drawing", featuring artwork by Nan Ferrier, will be on display into July (end date: to be determined).

Green Park Shipbuildi­ng Museum and Yeo House in Port Hill reopens on July 2, Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., until July 11 and then daily. Operations will be adjusted to follow protocols put forth by the Chief Public Health Office.

Orwell Corner Historic Village in Orwell is open to the public. Hours in June are Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Call 902 651-8515 for informatio­n.

Art galleries

Confederat­ion Centre Art Gallery in Charlottet­own has reopened to the public. It will be open Tuesday to Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is by donation. Exhibits include a new one, Sandi Hartling: anything at all, as well as Spheres, Skulls, and Other Icons of the Interior, Setting the Table: StillLife and its After Effects and Victor Cicanksy: The Gardener’s Universe. The Dunes Gallery is open in Brackley Beach, featuring a wide variety of artwork as well as furniture, clothing, jewelry and other items.
