No change to gas prices

-

P.E.I. gas prices continue to hover around the dollar mark as some workers in the region head into a long weekend. There was no change in the overnight Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission petroleum pricing adjustment.

At self-serve outlets, prices for regular, unleaded gasoline range from 99.7 to 100.9 cpl.

As well as gasoline, there is no change to the price of furnace oil, or diesel. Prices for diesel range from 100.6 to 101.8 cpl. The maximum price for furnace oil is 70.1 cpl.

Propane prices, however, have been adjusted depending on the carrier. They have decreased by 0.6 cents per litre (cpl) for Irving Energy Distribution and Marketing; by 1.5 cpl for Superior Propane; by 0.5 cpl for both Kenmac Energy Inc. and Noonan Petroleum; and by 1.8 cpl for Island Petroleum. Maximum propane prices now range from 73.6 to 74.4 cpl.

The commission's next pricing adjustment is Aug. 7.
