Passed away peacefully at Woodstock Hospital surrounded by her family on Monday, October 12, 2020. Johanna E. Burgers of Woodstock in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late William VanRooyen (1988) and the late Anthony Burgers (2016). Loved mother of Alexander (Anne) VanRooyen, JoAnne (Shawn) Shea, Frederick (Patricia) VanRooyen, William (Trish) VanRooyen, Tony (Yoke) VanRooyen and John (Mary Paula) VanRooyen. Cherished grandmothe­r of Angela VanRooyen, Eric (Amanda) VanRooyen, Justin (Jen) VanRooyen, Patrice (James) McGillivra­y, Tara (Jordan) Micko, Billy Joe VanRooyen, Rebekah (Josh) Clifford, Charlotte VanRooyen and Justin (Bethany) MacDonald and forever remembered by 20 great grandchild­ren. Dear sister of Albert Wesselink and sister in law to Helena VanDerVech­t, Anthony (Marie) VanRooyen, and Alexander VanRooyen. Step mother to Janet, Corrie, Albert and their families. Predecease­d by sister Diane (Henry) Ranter, brother-in-law Homer VanDerVech­t and step-son Henry. Friends will be received at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Thursday October 15th 2020 from 1-3 pm. (Masks required). A private family service will be held later. Interment will take place at the Mt. Herbert Cemetery, Bethel, PEI at a later date.
