CZANK, Edward “Eddie”

The death occurred peacefully, at the Kings County Memorial Hospital on Monday, February 15, 2021, of Edward John “Eddie” Czank of Morell, formerly of Vancouver BC aged 83. Survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Lynn (nee Lambie); his sons, Todd (Marina), Wade (Crissy), Scott (Stephanie) and Kent; his grandchildren, Therron, Kyra, Ethan, and Leo; and his brother Frank. Predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Anna; his brothers, Joseph (Mary), and George; his sister Betty; and his brother-in-law Van Solum. Resting at North Shore Funeral Home, Morell where visitation will be by invitation only because of covid restrictions. A private Funeral mass will be held Friday, February 19, 2021 at St. Theresa, The Little Flower Roman Catholic Church, Morell at 11:00 a.m. It will be live streamed at www.facebook.com/pg/Holy-TrinityPastoral-UnitPEI-103197078005559. Interment in the parish cemetery. Eddie was an active member of Rev. TP Butler Knights of Columbus Council 7617, the 4th Degree CouncilThe Honourable Daniel J MacDonald Assembly 2127, the Mt. Stewart Lady Slipper Senior Citizens Club, and St. Peter’s Day Program. He was a first class battery man, a teamster, and an employee of the Vancouver Liquor Distribution Center. At this time, Eddie’s family would like to thank Souris Home Care nurses and staff, and the doctors and nursing staff at Kings County Memorial Hospital especially Dr. MacLeod.
