Victoria Park tennis courts open

Tennis season has started in Charlottetown after the city opened the tennis courts for the season in Victoria Park Friday.

All eight of the cities tennis courts are opened as of April 16, however the city does ask that physical distancing rules are followed, officials said in a release.

The public is also asked to not hang around at the courts to limit the amount of people in the area.

Coming in May, people in Charlottetown will be able to schedule a time online to play, the city said.

Public bathrooms and the tennis clubhouse will remain closed, but there is still a bathroom available at the ballfield clubhouse.
