No change to price of gas

There is no change to the price of gasoline this morning at pumps across Prince Edward Island, but the price of diesel has increased by 2.1 cents per litre (cpl).

Including taxes, prices for regular unleaded gasoline at self-serve outlets range from 127.0 to 128.1 cpl, and prices for diesel range from 124.4 to 125.6 cpl.

The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission approved the prices effective today at 12:01 a.m.

Furnace oil also increased by 2.1 cpl with the maximum price now being 93.0 cpl.

Meanwhile, the cost of propane decreased by 0.3 cpl for Superior Propane, by 1.6 cpl for Island Petroleum, by 1.3 cpl for Irving Energy Distributi­on and Marketing and by 2.6 cpl for both Kenmac Energy and Noonan Petroleum. Propane prices now range from 84.9 to 86.0 cpl.
