Kennedy sparks Braves
Kyah Kennedy’s 3-for-3 batting performance sparked the Under-19 Braves to a 10-4 victory over Subway in a senior women’s softball game at the Queen Elizabeth Two Diamond in Charlottetown recently.
The teams were tied 3-3 after four innings before the Braves broke the game open late.
Taylor Blackmore (2-4), Shay MacLeod (1-4) and winning pitcher Abbey Smith (1-4) also made key offensive contributions for the Braves.
Jacqueline Kelly-Murphy (1-3), Sandy Marcoux (1-3), Angela Woods (1-3) and Darlene Hackett (1-4) were Subway’s top batters.
Stephanie Lawlor was the pitcher of record for Subway.
