LARKIN, John Patrick “Pat”

The funeral mass for the late John Patrick “Pat” Larkin was held on Tuesday, July 06, 2021 at St. Peter’s Bay Roman Catholic Church, St. Peter’s Bay, with Father Brian MacDougall officiating. The Altar Server was Jimmy MacAulay. Lighting of the pascal candle were Jim and Helen Larkin. Placing the Pall were Sharon Beaton, Elaine Hennebery, Sandra Larkin and Claire Larkin. The first reading was read by Adam MacIsaac, while Thomas MacDougall proclaimed the second reading. Sandra Larkin offered the prayers of intercession. Father MacDougall read the gospel and delivered the homily. Honorary pallbearers were everyone in attendance. Pallbearers consisted of Danny MacIsaac, Bill Lewis, Joe Hennebery, Mickey Palmer, Donnie Enman and Dr. George Saunders. Flower Bearer was Callen Larkin. Eucharistic minister was Peter MacAdam. Attending the mass in a group were representatives from the PEI School of Nursing, class of

‘74. Music was provided by Joe Byrne and Claire Byrne singing, Processional, I’ll See You Again; Offertory, On Eagles Wings; Communion, Amazing Grace; Incensing, Songs of the Angels; and the Recessional, You Raise Me Up. Interment took place in the parish cemetery. The funeral was under the direction of North Shore Funeral Home, Morell.
