Dr. Bevan returned to his native Britain numerous times for holidays and to give organ recitals in numerous cathedrals and churches, and one special recital for the centenary of his childhood school. Countless choristers of all ages will remember singing under Gwilym’s direction, together with annual choir camps and choir tours in Britain, Canada, the USA, and Bermuda. He retired in 1991, later returning to live in Kitchener. There will be no visitation or religious service.
