CANN, Lloyd

-

On March 2, 2023 family, friends and neighbours were deeply saddened to hear of the death of our dear father, Lloyd Franklin Cann. Born in Northam on May 29,1929, Lloyd was the second-eldest son of the late William and Florence (Currie) Cann. Lloyd grew up in Northam and in 1951 married Mary (MacKenzie), his wife of 68 years. The two would reside in Northam, where they worked to establish their beautiful family farm. Lloyd was an extremely hard worker, always willing to help family, neighbours and friends. His love for the land and his farm animals made him a true farmer. His cheerful, kind disposition and keen sense of humour endeared him to many. He loved to tell stories and his memory was second to none. Above all, he was a family man and showed great devotion to his family, who he loved dearly. Left to cherish his memories are his three children, Beverley, Marion (Eric) and Marvyn (Helen). Throughout the years, he also became a cherished grandfather to 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and one great-greatgrandson.
