The Bedeque Bay Environmental Management Association (BBEMA) is giving a presentation in the main gallery at Eptek Art & Culture Centre on March 10, 1-3 p.m.
The presentation is titled Climate change, its global and local impacts and what we can do to help. There is no cost to attend, and all are welcome.
This presentation is taking place as part of a series of programming to coincide with Of Growing Concern: 40 Years of Textile Creation Amid the Havoc of Climate Change, a retrospective of artwork by Jane Meredith Whitten currently on display at Eptek Art & Culture Centre. The exhibit is on display until April 5 in the main gallery at Eptek Art & Culture Centre.

These initiatives have expanded to include curriculum-based environmental education and monitoring programs that are being conducted within English and French schoolboards, as well as a specially designed program for the Mi’kmaq Confederacy of P.E.I.
