We are saddened to announce the sudden passing, in Florida on March 14, 2024, of David Cecil Bradley, of Charlottet­own and formerly of Summerside. Born in Charlottet­own on March 1, 1946, he was the son of Helen Bradley Morrison and Cecil Bradley, and stepson of James Morrison. David leaves to mourn; his wife of 55 years, Dianne (Dalziel); children, Craig (Barb), Jody, Robbie (Dawn); grandchild­ren, Carly, Isabella and Cooper; brother and sister, Emmett (Cherly) Bradley, Kaye Trainor; in-laws, Bonnie Bradley, Allan (Verna Lee) Dalziel, Sally Ross, Carol (Ron) Carmichael; and nieces and nephews. David was predecease­d by his father, Cecil Bradley; mother, Helen Morrison; stepfather, James Morrison; mother and father-in-law, Josephine and Bonar Dalziel; brother, Frank Bradley; sister, Ann Roach; in-laws, George Trainor, Gordie Ross, Laurie and Sharon Dalziel. David had strong roots in the Summerside and West Prince communitie­s, having worked as a school psychologi­st and retiring from the Unit 1 School Board. He was a member of the Summerside business community as owner/broker of Coldwell Banker Bradley Realty and Bradley Appraisals. Funeral arrangemen­ts are in the care of Belvedere Funeral Home and are expected to be the week of March 25th but will be determined once repatriati­on has occurred.
