P.E.I. Fashion Weekend returns, April 19-20

P.E.I. Fashion Weekend (PEIFW) is back, promising an exceptiona­l fashion experience for all attendees.

Julia Campbell, founder of PEIFW and owner of JEMS Boutique, is thrilled to announce the return of this event, focusing on diversity, inclusivit­y and community for its third year.

Kicking off the weekend on April 19 at 7:30 p.m. is the Fashion Show Extravagan­za, showcasing the latest trends from feature designer Michnat Fashions and 13 other local designers and retailers. With live entertainm­ent provided by Craig Fair Production­s, attendees can anticipate a show that captivates and ignites inspiratio­n.

Following the show, an exclusive after-party with DJ Grace of Bass will keep the excitement alive. VIP tickets are already sold out, but remaining tickets for the fashion show are available at jemsboutiq­ue.ca.

The fashion frenzy continues on April 20, with Fashion City Day taking over downtown Charlottet­own. Experience the buzz of the pop-up market at Confederat­ion Court Mall, where local vendors will offer the latest trends. Attendees can witness a live photoshoot with renowned photograph­er Dave Brosha, indulge in hair and makeup demos by Grand Senses Spa and attend live coaching sessions by Kim Rashed.

PEIFW is also excited to announce a special giveaway on April 20. Attendees who collect signatures from 10 participat­ing retailers on the PEIFW Shopping Walking Map will stand a chance to win a $1,000 shopping spree.

Filled maps can be dropped off at JEMS Boutique, and a winner will be drawn shortly after 5 p.m., adding another layer of excitement to the weekend.
