Family Festival at Kings Playhouse

The Kings Playhouse Family Festival is set for April 27-28 in Georgetown.

Beginning April 27 at 12 noon, take in the Family Favourites Lunch at Kings Playhouse. Catered by Georgetown's Wheelhouse Restaurant.

Kids can indulge in classic dishes like chicken fingers and macaroni, while adults savour hearty soup and sandwiches accompanied by coffee and tea.

Lunch is available for purchase on the day.

At 1:30 p.m., enter the magical world of "Once Upon A Time," a Disney extravaganza that wowed audiences at the recent Jack Frost Festival.

Featuring four vocalists backed by a four-piece band, this captivating Craig Fair Music Productions show has favourites such as "Part of Your World," "A Whole New World," "The Circle of Life" and more.

Round off the day with a free horse and wagon ride through the historic streets of Georgetown, 2:45-4:45 p.m. There's also a special Family Festival accommodation rate at Stones Throw B&B.

On April 28, it's Movie Day at Kings Playhouse. "Frozen" is on the big screen at 1 p.m. or journey back in time with the 1980s hit "Back to the Future" at 3:30 p.m. Enjoy popcorn, candy and drinks for the ultimate movie experience. Plus, don't miss out on free face painting between 2:45 and 4:45 p.m.
