It is with deep sorrow and much love we mourn the passing of our dear mother, Pauline Walsh (nee Gallant), of St. Anne’s, aged 80. She was loved by all who knew her and most certainly cherished by her family; husband Emeric Walsh; her children, Stephen Walsh (Chantal), Catherine Walsh-crombie (Bruce), and George. She absolutely adored her grandchildren, Amanda Crombie (John), Ashley Crombie (Greg), Dustin Crombie, Kelsey Walsh (Spencer), Brandon Walsh, Cody Veilleux, and Nathan Chanell-walsh; and great-grandchildren, Timmy Lantain, Abby Crombie, Catelyn Crombie, Mason Moore, Brooklyn O’flaherty, Greyson O’flaherty, and Malia Moore; they were her pride and joy. She is also survived by her brother and sisters, Mark Gallant (Margaret), Faustina Simoneau (Paul dec.), Luetta Doiron (Greg dec.), Emmy Gagnon (Jim), and Rose Mary Macdonald (Bliss); her brothers-in-law, Leo Walsh (Betty, dec.), Earl Walsh (Gloria) Andy Hennessey (Rose dec.) and sisters-in-law, Marjorie Crawford (Alfred, dec.), Marion Myers (Gordon) and Gail Gallant. She was fond of numerous nieces and nephews and their families that she deeply cared for. She was predeceased by her parents John Joseph “Jack” Gallant and Mary “Grace” Gallant-bransfield (nee Macdonald); her brothers, Lawson Gallant, and Everett Gallant; brothers-in-law, Vernon Walsh (Mary) and Stephen Walsh (Shirley); and sistersin-law, Kathleen Macdonald (Lorne) Bernadette Mcquaid (Ralph),. Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, New Glasgow, for visitation Wednesday, May 8, 2024, from 4-7 p.m. Funeral will be held at St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church, on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
