The Isle aux Morts Her­itage So­ci­ety in­vite you to spend an evening with Da Kood­ens as they per­form ‘Cel­e­brat­ing the Folk.’ En­joy a de­li­cious tra­di­tional meal and a good ole fash­ioned con­cert. Three per­for­mances at Hairy­man’s Safe Haven Cafe and Craft Shop in the Com­mu­nity Cen­tre in Isle aux Morts. Tick­ets can be re­served at the Town Of­fice in Isle aux Morts. KITE FES­TI­VAL

In sup­port of lit­er­acy, The Gulf News is host­ing a Home­made Kite Fes­ti­val at the Grand Bay West beach and field. Free ad­mis­sion, prizes and re­fresh­ments. Store bought kites are wel­come but will be judged sep­a­rately. No limit on kites per fam­ily. Chil­dren un­der 12 are to be ac­com­pa­nied by an adult.

St. Paul’s An­nual Flower Ser­vice

Two ser­vices will be held. The first is at 2 p.m. in the ceme­tery next to the church; the other is at 3 p.m. at St. Paul’s ceme­tery on Bara­chois Hill.

Can­cer sur­vivors, friends and fam­i­lies, there will be a lu­mi­nary ser­vice at Scott’s Cove Park with a pa­rade from the post of­fice to Scott’s Cove.
