Be­langer boys soc­cer wins sports­man­ship award at 2A Provin­cials

On Thurs­day, Oc­to­ber 19th the Be­langer Boys Soc­cer team trav­elled to Lawn to com­pete in the 2A provin­cial soc­cer tour­na­ment, with their coach Kirk Au­Coin and teacher mod­er­a­tor Melodie Muise.

They com­peted against 4 other teams. While the boys played well, they were not suc­cess­ful in re­ceiv­ing a medal. They did, how­ever, re­ceive the Team Sports­man­ship Award.

Team MVP was Ri­ley Col­lier.

Team Most Sports­man­like Player was Cameron Col­lier.

Spe­cial thanks to par­ents Stu­art Young, and Nancy and Craig Col­lier for sup­ply­ing rides and su­per­vi­sion of the stu­dents.
