Look who’s filming downtown …
Filming in Hamilton started this week with Hamilton’s own Junowinning rock band, the Arkells, filming a music video in a location downtown. Follow the Arkells on Twitter: @arkellsmusic.
“Reign” season 3 continues to film at private farms in Flamborough, Ancaster and Dundas. This popular television series is pro- duced by Whizbang Films. Whizbang has shot many television series and films in Hamilton including “Beauty and the Beast,” “The Good Witch” and “ZOS: Zone of Separation.”
Cinflix Productions was shooting “Lawmen” at the waterfront early in the week and shifting to a location on Barton Street. Cineflix has produced a multitude of shows in Hamilton such as “Mayday,” “Urban Legend,” “Motives and Murders” and “Nowhere to Hide.”
Digital Canaries has transported a subway car film set along the highway from Toronto to Hamilton. Check out their tweets @DigitalCanaries. This production company, located at 270 Sherman Ave. N., is also installing a large courtroom set and already has a jail set built inside this historic cotton mill.
The next two weeks should be quiet for filming downtown with the Pan Am Games taking centrestage.
