Iconic marquee set to return

CHICAGO — Wrigley Field’s iconic marquee is ready to return home to the Friendly Confines.

The Cubs say it is scheduled to be installed Wednesday after an offseason restoration that included structural repairs and cosmetic work.

Restored statues of Ron Santo, Billy Williams and Harry Caray were installed Monday outside the ballpark i n Chicago. The Ernie Banks statue is scheduled to be reinstalled on Friday.

Chicago hosts Cincinnati in Monday’s home opener.
