What advice would you give a student starting high school in September?

Go to class. Go to class. Just do it. Don’t skip. It was the worst thing you can ever do, if you want to have a future then have fun but still do your homework and go to class. Expect to meet new people. Don’t skip. Make sure that you get enough sleep each night. Don’t be lazy. Take time for yourself and to enjoy your high school life but remember that life does not stop after high school. Prepare yourself for a better life. Never let anyone make you feel like you don’t deserve your education. Don’t slack just because you can. Don’t screw it up. Stay on top of things. It’ll be easier in the long run. Attend. Don’t fall behind. Try to take notes on everything and anything. Always do homework, and study often. Stay focused and don’t get involved in drama. Try not to let others bring you down and keep time for studies as well as enjoyment. Study and do the best you can. Try your hardest and don’t drop out! Just go to class and get it done so you don’t have to do it over again. Be yourself. Take part in many things, enjoy your high school days to the fullest and don’t procrastin­ate or take anything for advantage. Don’t stress about social things like whether you’re “cool” or not. Try not to be afraid to get help, for any reason, school or health or whatever. Work hard in your assignment­s while you’re actually in school so it doesn’t take you extra years to finish everything. Really stay focused during work time and get your work done so you can graduate right out of high school, because coming back to a program when you’re 21 years old is not the greatest thing. Doing your homework and having good grades does make you cool because you will graduate on time. Don’t try and fit in at high school and then forget why you are there. Make sure to not procrastin­ate. Stay focused on your work, nothing else! Don’t fall behind. Just go to school. Don’t freak out, it’ll be fine. To keep up the work ethic and to not get knee deep in it. Get finished ASAP! Don’t slack off, get your work done. Don’t miss class.
