Friday, December 16 Fieldcote Memorial Park & Museum Enjoy a delightful concert and carol sing-along, hot cider, treats and Christmas Tree Awards at the Ancaster Old Town Hall. 7 to 9 pm. $10 per person. $20 per family

Ring in the New Year: A Holiday Evening Tour at Dundurn

December 28 & 29 Dundurn National Historic Site Sir Allan MacNab was very proud of his Scottish ancestry and celebrated the New Year surrounded by family and friends. Ring in the NewYear at Dundurn with music, an extended guided tour, and sample traditiona­l holiday foods served in the historic kitchen. 7 to 9 pm. $27 per person.

Saturday, December 31 Hamilton Children’s Museum Bring the whole family and interact in the museum’s three galleries, join in on ‘count downs’ throughout the day, and enjoy indoor and outdoor activities.
