Friday, December 16 Fieldcote Memorial Park & Museum Enjoy a delightful concert and carol sing-along, hot cider, treats and Christmas Tree Awards at the Ancaster Old Town Hall. 7 to 9 pm. $10 per person. $20 per family

Christmas Railway Workshops

Tuesday, December 27 to Saturday, December 31 Hamilton Museum of Steam & Technology Marvel at the G-Scale railway in the Electric Pump-House, and enjoy the drop-in self-guided craft centre in the Woodshed. Free event. Regular admission rates apply to the museum

Ring in the New Year: A Holiday Evening Tour at Dundurn

December 28 & 29 Dundurn National Historic Site Sir Allan MacNab was very proud of his Scottish ancestry and celebrated the New Year surrounded by family and friends. Ring in the NewYear at Dundurn with music, an extended guided tour, and sample traditional holiday foods served in the historic kitchen. 7 to 9 pm. $27 per person.

Blue Year’s Eve

Saturday, December 31 Hamilton Children’s Museum Bring the whole family and interact in the museum’s three galleries, join in on ‘count downs’ throughout the day, and enjoy indoor and outdoor activities.
