3 charged after raid nets gun, $35 K in drugs on Kinrade

Three Hamilton residents are facing numerous charges after police seized $35,000 worth of drugs and .32 calibre handgun from a Hamilton home.

Hamilton police executed the search warrant at 40 Kinrade Ave., near Barton Street East and Sherman Avenue North, last Thursday, finding crystal meth, cocaine, marijuana, oxycodone, cash and the handgun.

Joshua Wasylenko, 28, of Hamilton, is facing four charges of possession for the purpose of traffickin­g, having proceeds of crime over $5,000, and firearms offences.

A 54-year-old man and a 54-yearold woman, who police said were residents in the Kinrade home, also face firearms charges. Police did not release their names because they were released on a promise to appear in court at a later date.
