Police search for suspect after Subway outlet robbed with weapon, cash taken

Hamilton police are looking for a suspect after a Subway restaurant was robbed with a weapon Friday afternoon.

Police were called to the Subway at 847 Barton St. E. shortly before 3:30 p.m. Friday after the man allegedly entered the store with his face covered and carried “some type of edged weapon.”

He allegedly stole a small amount of cash before running away.

The suspect is described as being in his 20s or 30s, with a thin build. He was wearing dark clothing.
