It will always be Burma to us

RE: Columnist wrong to call Myanamar Burma (April 27)

While I mostly agree with the second half of Charlene Bernhardt’s letter, I object to the first part. My maternal grandparents, parents, eldest brother and two sisters all have birth certificates stating place of birth Rangoon Burma, not Yangon Myanmar.
