Capture and share your once-in-a-lifetime moments with Fotaflo

DIGITAL MARKETING SOLUTION

Picture this: you’re ziplining through a picturesque Canadian forest or flying over a majestic Alaskan lake.

It’s the perfect experience, one you wish you could capture forever. At the end, you realize the photos you took (if any) are blurry or disappointing in quality. Given the often remote or exotic locale of these once-ina-lifetime experiences, this is a common theme.

Fotaflo (fotaflo.com) has the solution. Their photo system lets adventure tourism venues (such as zip line tours or outdoor camps) instantly share digital photos with guests. The system comes with high quality cameras, training and customizable software ensuring the best moments are captured.

Fotaflo also serves as a digital marketing solution for these venues: guests can capture their experience while becoming brand ambassadors.

“The majority of media providers focus on simply capturing and delivering content to end users, often in the form of USB thumb drives or printed photos,” explains Jesse Walsh, Fotaflo’s marketing manager. “As an innovator in our industry, Fotaflo has recognized what people do with their photos after their experience has ended.”

With their online portal, Fotaflo gives guests the ability to instantly share images through social media. The photos are embedded with an adventure company’s brand messaging for effective referral marketing.

President and founder Ryan O’Grady began developing the solution when he noticed a gap in the adventure tourism industry. As a motorsports videographer, he found there was no way to provide participants with action shots that could be kept as souvenirs.

The team has offices in Hamilton and Simcoe, and services more than 45 adventure companies across North America. The nature of their business means some clients are in exciting places like Hawaii or Alaska.

“Our clients often operate in challenging environments, and so our equipment must work through extreme weather conditions
