Our future seems in good hands

RE: June 14 Spectator

Sometimes it is amazing how art depicts life. In this Spectator there was an article regarding the 60s Scoop of Aboriginal children by the federal government of the time. And on page Go10 under Art Matters, there is a copy of artwork by a student of Bishop Ryan Catholic Secondary School of an aboriginal girl having her hair cut off with a pair of scissors and the girl’s expression of sadness.

I enjoy reading this section and am amazed at how accomplished some of these students are at our various schools. Our future seems to be in good hands.
