The flu has arrived in Haldimand and Norfolk

The flu is circulating in Haldimand and Norfolk. Three cases have been confirmed, the health unit reported Tuesday. Two were influenza B and one was influenza A, which is potentially more infectious.

Public health says the best protection is getting the flu shot. It takes two weeks to provide maximum protection so the sooner residents are vaccinated, the better.
