Basic wage program leaves seniors out

RE: Liberal ‘basic wage’ test project in Hamilton

-

Wynne’s ‘basic wage’ pilot project discriminates against working seniors as it has an age restriction of 18 to 64 years of age. Why are working seniors not eligible for her handout project and what is with the maximum income cut off at $34,000. I fail to see why any able bodied person making anywhere near that amount requires financial help when most seniors would feel like they won the lottery if they got $34,000 a year as most have to survive on far less money. So why can’t Premier Wynne, when she feels another spending spree coming on, reach into her ‘bottomless pit’ of taxpayers’ money and create a ‘seniors basic income project’ for all seniors instead of just giving it to her hand-picked special interest groups who best fit her socialist agenda or is it that she knows that the seniors are just too smart to vote for her again?
