Laptops donated to those in need

Siemens Canada Limited and the Corporations for Community Connections are hosting their annual laptop donation event on Dec. 8. This year, 150 computers will be refurbished and distributed to those in need. The United Way Halton & Hamilton, the Oakville Community Foundation and the Hamilton Association for Residential and Recreational Redevelopment Programs are working together to distribute the laptops.

The 17 agencies working with the United Way include Food for Life, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hamilton & Burlington, the Elizabeth Fry Society and Food for Thought.
