Halton police seize drugs, handgun in Aldershot home
Halton police seized $2,600 worth of marijuana, cocaine and ecstasy — and a .380 calibre handgun — after searching an Aldershot home.
Three Burlington men now face drug trafficking charges.
On Wednesday, officers from the Burlington Street Crime Unit arrested one man allegedly in possession of 1 gram of cocaine, 28 grams of marijuana and a digital scale.
Police later executed a search warrant at a home on Spring Gardens Road, south of Plains Road West near Woodland Cemetery, where they found cash, 4.4 grams of marijuana, 52 MDMA (ecstasy) pills and the handgun.
Dylan Christopher Dean, 20, is charged with possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking. He was released on a promise to appear in Milton court May 1.
Kamaldip Singhera, 34, is charged with possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking, possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and trafficking marijuana. He was released to appear in court May 1.
Brandon Michael Stoddard, 30, is charged with possession of MDMA for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm knowing it’s unauthorized, breach of firearms prohibition and careless use (storage) of firearm. He was held for a bail hearing.
