Hamilton Health Innovation Week kicks off Monday

Hamilton Health Innovation Week 2018 kicks off Monday with a series of events running through April 29.

The showcase will bring together entrepreneurs, startups, researchers and public and private practitioners to discuss how innovation is impacting and transforming the healthcare sector.

The week will start with a Health Sciences venture fair and a Synapse kickoff reception on Monday (April 23), followed by Innovation Factory workshops the following day.

It will close out with a three-day IBM-Hamilton Health Sciences Innovation Exchange Hackathon.

Other programs include the annual Apps for Health digital health conference and McMaster Medical Student Research Day.
