INGLIS, Dianne (nee Morash)

After a life filled with love and laughter, Dianne passed peacefully to her eternal rest on May 16, 2018. Born May 2, 1945 in St. John, NB, Dianne was the beloved only child of Alexander and Eva Morash. She moved to Hamilton as a child, growing up in the Westdale area. She met and married the love of her life, Don, and they shared almost 49 years together. Dianne was the proud and loving mother of Sandi and Stuart (Lisa) and grandmothe­r of three beautiful grandsons, Caelan, Nolan, and Lachlan. Dianne will be fondly remembered by her sister and brotherin-law, Nancy and Blake Calder, nephew Ray (Karen), niece Jill (Matt) and great-nephew Adam, as well as many friends.

Dianne was an employee of McMaster University prior to retirement in 2000. In her retirement she enjoyed spending time with her family, Maritime vacations, and volunteeri­ng at her church, St. John’s Anglican Church Ancaster. Dianne loved nature and all its vibrant colours. In her honour, the family asks that you wear something colourful to her Celebratio­n of Life. The family would also like to thank the dedicated staff at St. Peter’s Hospital for the excellent care Dianne received during her stay. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the DODSWORTH & BROWN Funeral Home ANCASTER CHAPEL, 378 Wilson St. E., Ancaster, ON, on Thursday, May 24, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A Celebratio­n of Life will be held at ST. JOHN’S ANGLICAN CHURCH, 272 Wilson St. E., Ancaster, ON, on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 11 a.m. With interment to follow in St. John’s Churchyard. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Dianne’s name to St. John’s Church or the Cancer Assistance Program.
