Born November 30, 1930, Louisbourg, Nova Scotia. Passed away quietly on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at the Hamilton General Hospital with family by her side. June is survived by her children: Alan and Annette (Mark); her grandchild­ren; Jordan (Tori), Devon (Tony) and Meghan (Evan), siblings: Myrtle Greencorn, Marlene Richards, Linda Coveyduc (Cliff), all of Nova Scotia. Will be sadly missed by many family, 21 nieces and nephews in Ontario and Nova Scotia and friends throughout Canada, U.S.A. and the U.K. Predecease­d by her parents Caroline and Holland Fleet of Louisbourg, husband of 55 years, Ernest Harold Byrne M.D., siblings; Beulah, Joyce, Lester. June had many careers other than being a devoted wife and mother, her last passion was a J.K. teacher until she retired in 1995.
