KNIAZ, Stanislaw “Stanley” Andrew

Peacefully with courage and faith on September 3, 2018 in his 75th year, after a courageous battle with cancer God called Stanley home to join his wife Christina Kniaz (2003). Predeceased by his parents Regina and Pavel Kniaz and sister Michalina Nachman of Poland. Loving father to Jim Kniaz (Joanne) and Richard Kniaz (Kim). Adored Dziadzia to Christopher, Jacob, Alexis and Adalyn. Cherished brother to Joseph Lamot (Mary), brother-in-law to Ches Cichosz (Ben) and John Bajzert (Jadwiga), and nephew to Josephine Kniaz (Stanley) (2013). He will be cherished by his loving companion Maria Dolibog and her entire family. Stanley was a longtime choir member of St. Stanislaus Parish and the Symphonia Choir. Special thanks to the staff of Juravinski Hospital - F4 for their special care and compassion for Dad throughout his time there. He will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends in Canada and Poland. As expressions of sympathy donations can be made to the St. Stanislaus Elevator Fund in Stanley’s memory. Visitation will be held at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth), Hamilton on Thursday, September 6th from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. - 9 p.m., with a rosary service at 6:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Stanislaus Polish Church, 8 Saint Ann Street on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery in Burlington.
