The strength to fight climate change

RE: CLIMATE CHANGE FIGHT AT RISK (OCT. 6)

The Hamilton Spectator - - Comment -

What can we do about climate change? Either we can do something, or we do nothing.

This week scientists issued a final warning to the world to act now, or predictions for the next 30 years go from bad to worse. By 2028, Toronto is expected to have over 100 days a year reach 30C. We can only bring that number down with immediate and radical changes to the way we live. Our leaders promise that we can reduce emissions without personal sacrifice, that we can have our cake and eat it to. But we all know it’s never that easy.

What can we do about climate change? Encourage each other to live more sustainably. Pressure our leaders to acknowledge that blood, sweat and tears are needed. For the sake of our children and all future generations, I hope that you find the strength needed.
