FREE­LAND SPENDS DAY IN HAMIL­TON

For­eign Af­fairs Min­is­ter Chrys­tia Free­land ar­rives for a press scrum in the de­odor­izer room of Hamil­ton edi­ble-oil pro­ducer Bunge dur­ing a tour on Thurs­day. Free­land vis­ited the city to dis­cuss the United States-Mex­ico-Canada Agree­ment (USMCA) with in­dus­try rep­re­sen­ta­tives. She par­tic­i­pated in a round­table with the Hamil­ton Cham­ber of Com­merce, steel pro­duc­ers and the Hamil­ton Port Au­thor­ity, where she said she was “re­ally in­spired by the en­ergy and the en­trepreneurial spirit of Hamil­ton.” In the af­ter­noon, Free­land toured the Bunge’s Burling­ton Street East fa­cil­ity.
