Em­ploy­ees from North­ern Painters in Hamil­ton as­sem­ble scaf­fold­ing on Wed­nes­day in prepa­ra­tion to scrape and re­paint the clock tower on the his­toric Dun­das Town Hall. Ac­cord­ing to the On­tario Her­itage Trust, the town hall is one of very few mu­nic­i­pal build­ings in the prov­ince sur­viv­ing from prior to 1850. It was built in 1849.
