Passed away on November 29th in Dallas after a brief illness at the age of 78 with family at his side. Don emigrated from Edinburgh, Scotland in 1966 and was joined by the first love of his life Anne and two sons in 1967. Dundas, Ontario became home to the family soon joined by daughter Gillian. Don co-founded Crodon Kitchen and Bath Centre in 1976 with partner Dave Crowe. Don was loved by clients, staff, friends and family for his kindness, generosity and ever present smile. After Anne had a stroke Don took care of her with unwavering devotion for 20 years. After Anne’s passing Don was fortunate enough to meet and marry Marte Griffin in Port Isabel, Texas where Don had retired. Don and Marte have enjoyed golf, sunshine, many laughs and great friends. Don will be missed by many including his two grandsons Aiden and Keith. Don knew He was loved by Rich (Missi), Gill (Eric), Russ (Vanessa) and his wife Marte. We invite friends, family and anyone who was touched by his generosity to join us in a celebratio­n of life on January 19th (details to follow). In lieu of flowers please give someone who needs love a hug and be kind. Don would want that.
