See RCMP for what they really are
The Canadian labour movement and Canada’s Aboriginal people have always had a contentious relationship with the RCMP.
That being said, I say it is about time we look at the RCMP for what they really are.
They are a paid federal police agency responsible for enforcing the will of their political masters and a large oil-gas consortiums — and the public be damned. Profits above all else. The RCMP are not your friends and, as a former working-class labourer, I view them as oppressors.
