Hamilton doesn’t need more housing
Hamilton doesn’t need more housing. That was made obvious by the “City Fathers” giving away over $2 million instead of using it to build more homes for those who want them. If, and that’s a big if, there was a housing shortage, then why does the city put up roadblock after roadblock to developers and future homeowners who want to build houses, condos or apartments? The Hamilton downtown core, where some city-hallers want an LRT, has dozens of vacant buildings, so hundreds if not thousands of lost opportunities for apartments or condos.
