Joni Mitchell trib­ute con­cert to hit the­atres next month

A star-stud­ded trib­ute to Joni Mitchell is hit­ting the­atres next month for one date only.

“The Mu­sic Cen­ter Presents Joni 75: A Birth­day Cel­e­bra­tion” fea­tures fa­mous fans and friends in­clud­ing Em­my­lou Har­ris, No­rah Jones, Di­ana Krall, Kris Kristof­fer­son, Los Lo­bos with La Marisoul, Gra­ham Nash, Seal, James Tay­lor, and Ru­fus Wain­wright.

The con­cert was cap­tured over two nights at the Dorothy Chan­dler Pavil­ion in Los An­ge­les in Novem­ber 2018 to mark Mitchell’s 75th birth­day.

The film in­cludes per­for­mances along with be­hind-the-scenes in­ter­views with the artists, who per­formed many of Mitchell’s hits in­clud­ing “A Case of You,” “Both Sides, Now,” “Down To You,” and “For The Roses.”

Cine­plex says the two-hour film will screen in 22 the­atres across the coun­try on Feb. 7.

The film is also set to take over the­atres in the United States on the same day.
